Celebrating Teaching

Teachers at Autism Solutions Academy go above and beyond to help engage their students.

At Autism Solutions Academy, we are incredibly fortunate to have a team of creative and dedicated teachers who go above and beyond to help our students with autism reach their full potential. Through innovative and hands-on activities, they make learning not only educational but also fun and engaging.

Our teachers inspire curiosity and critical thinking with exciting STEM projects. Whether it’s building Ferris wheels or crafting boats that float, these activities ignite a passion for learning within our students. Watching a Ferris wheel spin or a boat glide across water brings joy and a sense of accomplishment to our learners, reinforcing important concepts in physics and engineering.

Creativity doesn’t stop there. Our teachers design activities that cater to the diverse needs of our students. For example, students recently threaded string through plates to create baseball designs—a simple yet effective way to develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Teachers emphasize reaching students where they are at and providing the instruction and resources needed to help them continue to grow and learn. Our teachers are often seen implementing strategies, such as seating arrangements and adaptations, that help individual students develop independence and confidence at school.

The dedication of our teachers to fostering a supportive and imaginative learning environment is truly inspiring. Their innovative approach helps our students thrive, empowering them to achieve goals and build confidence every day. We are proud of the incredible work of our teachers!
